Hackintosh wifi card not working4/1/2024 ![]() If you could help me out, it would be of a great use to me. So, I tried almost "every possible troubleshoot" provided online, but none of them were any help.įinally after 12 hours of trying and not getting any outcome, I decided to post as a question here. As you can see below, I have no option of WiFi available, so I tried looking into settings, to find the option of Wireless connections.īut again, I run into this, where there is no option to wireless connections: It was yesterday I tried to dual boot Ubuntu 20.04 alongside my Windows 10, where the installation was smooth and I was able to switch between Windows and Ubuntu quite easily.īut then I ran into a problem. Put the card in my PCI-E 1 slot, and installed the drivers from the installation disc, but nothing shows up in Device Manager and I have no wireless option in my Network Connections settings. ![]() It was weird because all the other computers in my house could connect, Mac and Windows. ![]() I had recently changed my wifi setting to support up to 300mb/s and after that my wifi card wouldnt work. I'm a complete newbie in the world of Linux. PCIe Wireless adapter is not being recognized Previously, I was just using ethernet. This past week I experienced a weird issue with my wifi in my hackintosh. A problem shared by most Hackintosh builds is that OSXs Wifi/BT drivers are limited to a handful of Apple Broadcom cards.
